Fixe Summit 7.5 – Half Rope

Extremely versatile and lightweight to boot – the Fixe Summit 7.5! The super-skinny rope is certified for used as both a half and twin rope, so it is just made for alpine multi-pitch climbing! So, depending on your route and protection points, you can use either the half rope technique or the twin rope technique. Plus, if you need some extra safety whilst hiking or hillwalking, it is perfect as a safeguard on a tricky step. With a weight per metre of 41 g/m, the rope is so light that you’ll hardly notice you’ve got it in your pack! Fans of difficult routes will certainly love that!
In addition, Fixe applied a Full Dry Treatment to the Summit 7.5, which offers protection in icy, damp and dusty conditions. This also serves to prolong the life of the rope and makes it reliable in harsh conditions. What’s more, the rope was designed using Endurance technology, which makes the sheath tougher and more resistant to abrasion. The Spiderwire technology serves to increase the number of UIAA falls whilst simultaneously reducing the impact force.
