The Ergonomic Ice Tool from Petzl was specifically designed for ice climbing and dry-tooling. The Ergonomic features a new inclined grip design, which has been optimised for hang time. Plus, you get more support when pulling. As a result of the dual grip, there are multiple ways to hold it and it’s much easier to change hand positions. The ergonomically shaped upper grip made of two-component material is grippy and protects the hand from the cold. The curved shaft underneath the head facilitates hooking. Another great thing about the Ergonomic is that it comes with the DRY pick, which can be used in rock, snow and ice. The Masselotte pick weights beef up the swing of the ice axe. The shape of the pick weights have been optimised for cracks. Thanks to the modular head, you can adapt the ice tool to various activities.
